Grace Rose lived from 1887 to 1981. She was born in Michigan and lived there most of her life. This is a transcription of her diary written in 1908, the year she turned 21. Papa took me up to Cranes' at noon and us girls had intended to go to Vernon but it rained all p.m. so went to call on Dolly and found her friend Mr Warren there so we did not stay long. Papa came after me after supper.
