Grace Rose lived from 1887 to 1981. She was born in Michigan and lived there most of her life. This is a transcription of her diary written in 1908, the year she turned 21. I went downtown in p.m. and the Crane girls and I went to the ball game between Ithaca and C.H.S. 9-2 in favor of C.H.S. A poor fellow from Ithaca got his nose and finger broken. Bessie rode home with me. Sum rode down with me.
