Grace Rose lived from 1887 to 1981. She was born in Michigan and lived there most of her life. This is a transcription of her diary written in 1908, the year she turned 21. Rose, Earl, and I went to the State Fair in a.m. In p.m. Earl went to Chicago - Det. game and we went to the Temple. Took the evening train for Flint and got to Ella's about 8:30. Awful tired.
