Grace Rose lived from 1887 to 1981. She was born in Michigan and lived there most of her life. This is a transcription of her diary written in 1908, the year she turned 21. We washed the buggy and ironed in a.m. In p.m. we drove to Vernon around by Shiatown, downtown, and then home. Intended to go downtown in eve but it rained so we stayed at home and went to bed early.
