Grace Rose lived from 1887 to 1981. She was born in Michigan and lived there most of her life. This is a transcription of her diary written in 1908, the year she turned 21. Earl came up at noon and Donald came too but he did not stay long. Earl felt foxy all right wanted to tell Mama "something" but I would not let him. Sat in the hammock all evening.
