Grace Rose lived from 1887 to 1981. She was born in Michigan and lived there most of her life. This is a transcription of her diary written in 1908, the year she turned 21. Lantz's mill and barn burned the night. Wanted to go down to Mable Wallace's in evening but couldn't because Mama wasn't as well. Papa went down to see the Dr after supper.
