Grace Rose lived from 1887 to 1981. She was born in Michigan and lived there most of her life. This is a transcription of her diary written in 1908, the year she turned 21. Bessie Crane and I drove to Vernon in p.m. and had dandy time. Saw Will C. and he took us up to his room. Stayed to Cranes' all night. Intended to go to party but rained.
