Rec'd W.M.'s letter.  Grandma and I drove downtown in p.m.  I went to see the dressmaker, up to Grandma's house and to Mrs Mills.  Got home at 5 o'clock.  A date with Earl Derham. Ha! Ha!  At 6:30 I walked over to Dolly Long's and in evening Cranes and us girls went to Geo. Ackerson's to a warm sugar social.  An awful crowd and all had a good time.  I helped Ernest Larner work a button-hole and he took me to supper.  I expected Bessie was coming home with me to stay all night but Ward Martin brought me home with his horse and buggy.  "The next house is Roses." Ha! Ha! Got home at 1:30.  Dandy night.
