Grace Rose lived from 1887 to 1981. She was born in Michigan and lived there most of her life. This is a transcription of her diary written in 1908, the year she turned 21. I walked downtown in p.m. and stayed with Winnie all night. We 6 girls went to Jennie Chaffie's in evening. Had a swell time. Mable and Hattie mad at Winnie. Got home at 11:30 but talked until about 2.
