Grace Rose lived from 1887 to 1981. She was born in Michigan and lived there most of her life. This is a transcription of her diary written in 1908, the year she turned 21. We all went over to Uncle Theo for dinner. I waited for Earl. He gave me the cut glass water set. Swell. We got home at 9 o'clock and nearly froze.
