Grace Rose lived from 1887 to 1981. She was born in Michigan and lived there most of her life. This is a transcription of her diary written in 1908, the year she turned 21. Rode downtown with Chilt in the p.m. Rained a little. Went up to see Ella and downtown. Stayed at Belle's all night and went to Assembly in evening. Had dandy time. The teacher was sick so did not come.
