Walked home in a.m.  Rec'd Myrtle's letter.  Went to bed early.

Transcriber's note:
I think "Myrtle" is Grace's grandmother's sister, Mrs Myrtle Crandall Hulick, widow of Joseph Hulick. Myrtle had lived in Corunna at one time, but in 1908 would have been living in either Pennsylvania or Minnesota, as she appeared to be boarding with either her son-in-law or other family members. She had lost her husband around 1891, and her only child Winifred around 1905.  "Myrtle" is referenced 3 times in Grace's 1908 diary, always because of letters written or received.

Here is a photo that is said to be of Myrtle Crandall Hulick with Martha Durham, Grace's daughter.  We're looking into the future now...this must be 1912 or 1913.  This tells me that Grace and Myrtle were somewhat close.

And here is Myrtle's death certificate, where we see that Grace ("Mrs E Durham") provided the information.
