Grace Rose lived from 1887 to 1981. She was born in Michigan and lived there most of her life. This is a transcription of her diary written in 1908, the year she turned 21. Felt rather bum all day. Went over to Chilt's in p.m. after some books to read. Herbert came over after Mama so she went over there and stayed all night. Talked with W.F.C. in evening.
