Grace Rose lived from 1887 to 1981. She was born in Michigan and lived there most of her life. This is a transcription of her diary written in 1908, the year she turned 21. Aunt Louise and Mamie K. over in p.m. In evening the men went spearing. Mama and I had quite a talk. Did not get the milk.
